We offer medical treatment to those who are affected with leprosy. We work closely with the hospitals that offer reconstructive surgeries to treat clawed hands or difficulty in closing eyes or foot drops.
Most of the people in Third World countries still face rejection by their family and communities if once they are diagnosed with leprosy. We provide counseling to the family members as well educate the community that leprosy is a curable disease like many other diseases. Counselling and Community Education helps the leprosy patients to maintain their dignity in the community.
Our staff provide Health education to both who are affected by leprosy and also to those who are not. By educating people and the community, we take away the fears about leprosy from the minds of people and hence people start accepting leprosy patients like normal people.
We also provide free prosthetics if the patient has amputation. Our hospital also provide treatment to ulcers and medication reactions that cause very unpleasant experiences.
We provide free housing to those who are affected with leprosy. When people are affected with leprosy, families force them to leave the house and hence most of them end up on the streets. We provide FREE housing to those who are abondanded by their families.
The hospitals we work offer FREE transportation to the lepers as most of the public transportations do not allow lepers to get on the buses or trains. Lepers can call our hotline whenever they need transportation either to visit hospital or go to market or anywhere.
